The Seen, The Unseen & the Light
Where patterns surface, agreements sit out of sight, and truth brings everything back into alignment.
If you’ve ever found yourself reacting in ways that don’t match what you believe… this might help.
There was a woman who kept finding herself in the same moment. Different day. Different person.
Same feeling. Sometimes she would go quiet.
Other times she would take over the whole room.
If you asked her, she knew what was true.
She believed in peace. She believed in trust. She believed she did not have to force anything.
And yet… there it was again.
She began to notice something.
What she could see… was not the whole story.
There was the Seen
Her words.
Her reactions.
The conversations playing out in front of her.
This was the part she—and everyone else—could point to.
There was also the Unseen
Not loud. Not obvious.
More like a basement…
a cellar…
the back of a closet…
or a junk drawer.
Things stored over time. Some of them, from much earlier than she realized.
Not bad—just unexamined.
And somewhere in those hidden places…
were quiet agreements.
One of them sounded like: “Stay quiet. This isn’t safe.”
Another: If you don’t handle this, everything will fall apart.”
For a long time, she tried to fix what was seen.
Choose better words.
Stay calmer.
Respond “the right way.
But the same patterns kept showing up.
One day, instead of adjusting what was visible…
she turned toward what wasn’t.
One day, instead of adjusting what was visible, she turned toward what wasn’t.
She didn’t go there to fight. She didn’t go there to prove anything.
She simply brought the Light with her.
Not harsh. Not exposing for the sake of exposing.
Just steady. The kind of light that doesn’t panic in the dark.
In that light, things became clear.
The silence she kept choosing, had once protected her.
The control she kept reaching for… had once made things feel stable.
What she had been calling “the problem” had once been her solution.
She didn’t argue with it.
She didn’t shame it.
She just let the Light tell the truth there.
Something began to shift. Not all at once. But enough.
When she came back to what was seen… the moment was still there.
The conversation still happening.
The other person still being themselves.
She wasn’t being pulled the same way.
Later, she noticed something else. When others spoke, she could hear more than their words.
Fear trying to sound certain.
Hurt trying to sound strong.
Control trying to sound right.
She did not need to call it out.
She did not need to correct it.
She could simply see it.
The Passion Translation – Luke 6:45:
“People are known in the same way that a tree is known—by its fruit. Every time you speak, you are revealing what is inside your heart. What you say flows from what has filled your heart.”
She realized something simple.
What is unseen… does not stay hidden.
It always finds a way to be seen—
in words,
in actions,
in hesitation,
in delay,
even in what keeps getting put off.
Not to be judged.
To be revealed.
Once something is brought into the Light…
it no longer has to lead.
Most people try to fix what’s on the surface… without realizing the pattern is being stored somewhere deeper.
Everybody has a “junk drawer.”
Some people just call it: “This is just how I am.”
The ones who find peace… learn to open those hidden places with the Light on.
Not because they are broken.
Because what was stored there was never meant to steer forever.
When the Light reaches what was hidden…
the Seen begins to change—naturally.
The Seen shows the pattern.
The Unseen holds the agreement.
& The Light is what sets it right.
Not by forcing change on the surface… by bringing truth
to what was waiting underneath.
